Advisory Council Community
Members were selected based upon their expertise and experience with methamphetamine issues. Individuals from across the spectrum have been asked to provide input as the project progresses. With their involvement we are able to insure the accuracy and value of our messages. As well, advisory council members provide valuable conduits through which to share the MethFree MT message and continue to build the grassroots network.

Real Estate and Rental Agents Community
This is a forum for landlords, real estate and rental agents to discuss their concerns about methamphetamine.
The Montana Landlord Association, Lewistown chapter, initiated the Meth Free MT discussion by hosting a meeting on Wednesday, August 20th at the Yogo Inn, Lewistown. Staff from the Most of Us? Project presented to an audience of roughly 20 concerned citizens and property owners.
Seventeen members of the community were present and were provided with a presentation by the Lewistown Police Department and Meth Free MT. Individuals discussed key indicators of a meth lab, the social implications of meth use and production and what they can do to protect their property and thereby the community.
As many of the attendees were landlords, the discussion centered on property owners rights and many related issues came to light. Some questions asked were:
What can landlords do to screen out potential meth cooks? Is there access to criminal records? If so, to what extent is the information made public?
Resources for background checks? (A reiteration of sorts of the first question)
What percentage of labs are found in rented properties?
This forum provides the opportunity for landlords to continue this discussion.
